August 14, 2020 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm

What should we do to combat anti-Black racism and other forms of discrimination in the Stanford Medicine community? How can faculty create an environment of inclusion and better support our students and postdocs in their classroom and labs and in our institution?

On behalf of Will Talbot and Sheri Krams, we invite you to join Terrance Mayes, Associate Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer for UC Irvine Health and former Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Diversity at Stanford School of Medicine's Office of Graduate Education, as he reflects on his experience at Stanford and imparts best practices to move faculty forward from dialogue to action.

Please register by Friday, August 7th at https:/biosciences.stanford.edu/mayesrsvp

Zoom details will be provided closer to time to those that register by the above deadline.
