Graduate student opportunities
Incoming Stanford PhD students can apply to the Chemistry/Biology Interface (CBI) Predoctoral Training Program, which provides a unique interdisciplinary environment and added support to complement the training they receive in their degree-granting programs. Current PhD students can apply for one of the Sarafan ChEM-H-affiliated Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowships.
Postdoc opportunities
For postdocs at Stanford interested in molecular research at the interface of chemistry and biology, Sarafan ChEM-H provides seed grants, mentorship opportunities, and community.
Faculty opportunities
In partnership with departments across the schools of Engineering, Medicine, and Humanities and Sciences, Sarafan ChEM-H recruits junior and senior faculty as Institute Scholars. This diverse cohort of scholars and leaders is pioneering new approaches to human health research. Current Stanford faculty members who want to become more engaged in the Sarafan ChEM-H community can become affiliated as Faculty Fellows. Email chemh-info@stanford.edu for more information.
Undergrad opportunities
Sarafan ChEM-H provides training for undergraduate students to learn more about scientific research and its applications, including mentored research experiences and a program for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn more about drug development.
